mattermost-rtl's Issues

focalboard

Hi
I've just installed only the FocalBoard, how can i use this only for FocalBoard?

Thank you for sharing this excellent plugin! Interested in a guest blog post at mattermost.com/blog?

Thank you @QueraTeam for sharing this excellent plugin! The screenshots look amazing.

I'd love to promote your work with the Mattermost community. I'm curious if you were interested writing a guest blog post for mattermost.com/blog about the plugin you built?

It could be a technical blog about how you implemented RTL support with this plugin, or a highlight of the work you've done.

This would make it easier for us to share your work with others who are looking for RTL support.

If you're interested, we have a short process for it outlined at https://handbook.mattermost.com/operations/messaging-and-math/how-to-guides-for-m-and-m/how-to-write-guest-blog-posts-for-mattermost-apps-and-services

Long distance from the right

Hi

I recently encountered the problem of long distance from the right.
By taking the Inspect, it was determined that the Max-Width property should either be deactivated in the element or be 100 %.

<textarea data-testid="post_textbox" id="post_textbox" height="46" autocomplete="off" class="form-control custom-textarea custom-textarea--emoji-picker" spellcheck="true" role="textbox" aria-label="write to سعید حسین آبادی" dir="auto" style="visibility: visible; height: 46px; padding-right: 48px; max-width: 634px;">سلام ب</textarea>

No longer works after update

Hello,

After the recent update on our mattermost instance, the RTL plugin no longer works.
Current version: Mattermost 5.34.2

I also remove the plugin and installed it again in case. The font is being called correctly but direction is not taking effect. I'd appreciate your insight on this.

Thank you

Extend RTL for branded banner text

Not sure if plugin could be activated before login, but please extend all the fixes to the pre-logon customized banner text if possible. Thanks for the great work.

Revert to LTR formatting upon encountering newline or inline format specifiers

Please view the sample screenshot.:

image

  • The upper message with red cross is processed by plugin (since 5 seconds has passed).
  • The next one is the identical copy of message (before elapse of 5 seconds).

In this case the second output is correct.

So if possible revert to original LTR formatting upon encountering carriage-return, line-feed ,and inline format specifiers.

Here is another example (the same above description applies):

Stopped working on version 5.34

Seems like the update has broken it or somthing
they added this to the system
Added support for automatic right-to-left (RTL) detection in browsers.
maybe it broke it
