I and l are indistinguishable.

Reason: Otherwise specializations we're not aware of (e.g. dbplyr::db_analyze()) use the default method.

Involves dynamic creation of S4 classes.

More compelling than DBI code.

Goal: every S4 method in the wrapped class should get its corresponding method from us.

Example: dbQuote*() .

Hopefully not a blocker for DBItest due to r-universe and Additional_repositories .

Logging e.g. quoting and unquoting operations is useful only for the tests that specifically test quoting and unquoting, but not in general. We need a way to selectively enable and disable logging for particular generics (or classes of generics): tidyverse/dbplyr#298 (comment).

and provide entry point to retrieve them, because there's no reliable way to capture instantiation of the driver.
