Quick Start

1. Install Hugo

Download the appropriate version for your platform.

I used hugo_extended_0.75.1_Linux-64bit.deb to develop this theme.

2. Create a New Site

hugo new site myBlog

3. Use hugo theme simpleness

cd myBlog
git init
git submodule add https://github.com/RainerChiang/simpleness.git themes/simpleness

copy the content of exampleSite

cp themes/simpleness/exampleSite/config.toml .
cp -r themes/simpleness/exampleSite/content .

build site

hugo server

then, open http://localhost:1313/ in your browser。

Font change ?

Hello, thanks for lovely theme..

Wondering where can I change logo font and overall font of blog to something else.. ?

Table of content support

From https://rainerchiang.github.io/posts/2020-09-22-hello-hugo/, I can tell that Table of content is available in this simpleness theme, however, when I switch to this theme, I see no TOC in my Hugo site. :-(

Is there anything wrong since the main repo README.md with Table of content feature unchecked?

My local website looks different than deployed version

Hi, as the title suggests, when I build locally it looks alright but when I build on the website version it seems not to recognize css. I of course have in baseURL of config.toml my website address "https://rwd-blog-test.onrender.com" but still nothing loads on the server. Do you have any idea what could it be?

Little Typo

Hello there,

thank you for the theme! There is a little typo in the install command:

cp themes/simepleness/exampleSite/config.toml .

simepleness should be simpleness
