Multithreading support

The new version of freerouting v1.4.5 got released.

One new major feature is multithreading. Would it be possible to integrate functionality to support this feature?

UTF-8 characters are considered illegal?

Some of my netnames contain UTF-8 characters, which KiCAD on my stock Ubuntu 16.04LTS handles fine, but the freerouting plugin crashes telling me it found illegal characters.

KiCad leaves tombstone process

1. problem
   after plugin invocation, KiCad leaves tombstone process
   which must be killed manually by os task manager

2. workaround
   start scripting console before plugin invocation:

Pcbnew -> Tools -> Scripting Console

3. solution
   kicad should automatically provision global wx.App instance by default,
   similar to how it is done in kicad_pyshell

Update freerouting to the latest and add the -do command line argument

Freerouting v1.4.5.1 has a few new features and the output Specctra session filename must be defined now with and extra -do parameter.

Could you update the plugin to reflect these changes?

Test for accessible pcbnew API, prompt to update kicad if needed

Mac OSX? cant install

There are several plugin folders in theOS Kicad app. directory - this plugin does not seem to work from any of them.
How to fix?

Missing Python Api

Hi,
i'm using kicad 5.1.4 on Linuxmint 19.2 Cinnamon.
If i try to use your plugin it says
Missing required Python API:
pcbnew.ExportSpecctraDSN
pcbnew.ImportSpecctraSES

But under File -Export (and import) both options are there and working.
