twitchwatchlist's Issues

Change icon for when channels are live.

Change the extension icon to indicate when channels are live.
Possibly add number to show how many live channels there are.

Empty state.

Add empty state for first time installs.

API Request Alternative

Current solution for fetching channels from twitch is not sustainable for mass use.

Should find a different solution, possibly look into requiring twitch api key from users.

Add / Remove channels from list.

Add functionality to:

• Add channels to the list.
• Delete channels from list.

Probably going to use local storage to store users individual lists.

Better indication for offline channels.

Add clearer indication for which channels are online / offline.
Possibly add a line to separate or "grey" out offline channels.

Channel item Links broken.

Links on channel items are broken, might have something to do with them being loaded in. So the function to open them in a new tab doesnt work.

Sort channels.

Channels are currently only sorted by Online/Offline status.
Channels should also be sorted alphabetically.

Use fetch instead of $.getJSON?

Consider using fetch instead of $.getJSON to totally get rid of jquery.
Will increase performance and lower size of project.

ClientID exposed

Currently the ClientID is exposed in the code.

Should find possible solution for this.

Bug: Deleting channels sometimes doesn't work.

Might have something to do with name length or if the channel name contains spaces as well.
