kxmx_bluemchen's Issues

kompressor example won't compile

Hey,

while trying to compile the kompressor example i get the follwing error:

examples/kompressor.cpp: In function 'int main()':
examples/kompressor.cpp:113:26: error: invalid conversion from 'void ()(float**, float**, size_t)' {aka 'void ()(float**, float**, unsigned int)'} to 'daisy::AudioHandle::AudioCallback' {aka 'void ()(const float const*, float**, unsigned int)'} [-fpermissive]
113 | bluemchen.StartAudio(AudioCallback);
| ^~~~~~~~~~~~~

| void ()(float**, float**, size_t) {aka void ()(float**, float**, unsigned int)}
In file included from examples/kompressor.cpp:2:
examples/../kxmx_bluemchen.h:57:55: note: initializing argument 1 of 'void kxmx::Bluemchen::StartAudio(daisy::AudioHandle::AudioCallback)'
57 | void StartAudio(daisy::AudioHandle::AudioCallback cb);
| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^~
make: *** [libDaisy/core/Makefile:224: build/kompressor.o] Error 1

the test_hardware example works fir (as mentioned in the forum :-) ) Used the referenced libs and the toolchain works fine...

Cheers,
Bernd

Update to the latest release of libDaisy

It's been a while since our submodule of libDaisy has been updated. It might be a good time to upgrade to the latest tagged release of it, which is currently v5.1.0. I tested it and it appears to be compatible with the current Bluemchen code (at least via the hardware test example).

I'll submit a PR for this shortly.

Hardware Test doesn't receive MIDI

The Hardware Test example has all the necessary logic to display incoming MIDI notes, but it doesn't currently work. Despite sending MIDI note on/off messages to the Bluemchen, it fails to receive anything.

This is because StartReceive() needs to be called on the Bluemchen's MIDIHandler as part of the startup process, but isn't.

I'll submit a PR to fix this shortly.
