Try Redis is a demonstration of the Redis data structure server.

This project was started by @alexmchale back in 2010. In January 2013 badboy took over the maintenance and hosting of the service, and in February 2020 antirez. It is now being maintained by the Redis community.

Contributions, improvements, comments and suggestions welcome. Just file an issue.

try.redis's Issues

SCAN is not working

Let's have this set of commands:

set a 1
set b 2
set c 3
scan 0 count 1

On my local machine with redis-cli I'm getting reult simular to:

1) "2"
2) 1) "b"

With try.redis.io I'm getting:

1) "524288"
2) (empty list or set)

I am not redis expert, but seems wrong to me.

Tests for HLL are broken

Wrong return SADD and SPOP

The return of the commands, SADD and SPOP, are wrong.

Check the image bellow:

ZREVRANGEBY SCORE only accepts 3 arguments

ZREVRANGEBYSCORE doesn't accept more than 3 arguments, making it impossible to use WITHSCORES or LIMIT.

(error) wrong number of arguments ...

ZPOPMIN not recognized on try.redis.io

Following example from documentation:

> ZADD myzset 1 "one"
(integer) 0
> ZADD myzset 2 "two"
(integer) 0
> ZADD myzset 3 "three"
(integer) 0
> ZPOPMIN myzset

This last command results in the following message...

Disable autocomplete in the tutorial

Can we set autocomplete="off" on the input? I'm finding it disruptive and not helpful.

Support for Redis Streams?
