Olark needs to also load on ready() about turbolinks-compatibility

The currently posted solution has the line:

window.olark || initOlark();

...which should load the library. Users have confirmed that the current solution works, so that's why I'm a little surprised that it's not working for you.

Does this work?

$(document).ready(function(){
  window.olark || initOlark();

  $(document).bind('page:load', function(){
    initOlark();
    olark.identify('<your identity string>');
  });
});

The identify method never gets called for me.

Maybe my understanding of turbolinks is wrong, is page:load supposed to fire even on the initial page load? If I try putting a breakpoint on identify() it is only caught after I navigate to a different page.

I actually decided to remove it anyways due to the JS errors, thanks for your help though!

If you're using the jquery.turbolinks, page:load will fire on DOM Ready.
