This is the official CLI implementation of the core functionalities of TRM.

TRM is a software designed to make transports between SAP ECC/S4 systems easy.

Install

First, make sure you have all the requirements installed.

You can then install the CLI via npm:

npm install trm-client -g

Crash if SAP Gui is not installed

Client crashes if SAP Gui is not installed

Transport request should also show local WB in info commands

Currently commands like
trm list
show the publish TRKORR.
Add a new column that shows the system WB TRKORR.

Enhance info command

Show trm node dependencies versions and SAP dependencies

Client version not showing

This might be due to problems retrieving package.json data

Modify install command

The command should be
trm install <package> [version]

Global settings

Introduce a settings file in .trm folder that contains global settings

Modify publish command

The command should be
trm publish <package> [version]

Add options for publish/install w translations

• Option for skipping LANG tr generation
• Option for skipping LANG tr import

Check for updates automatically

Add feature that will check for updates on CLI commands.
A message is shown only if on MINOR or MAJOR updates (skip patch).

Add safe install

Modify unpublish command

The command should be
trm unpublish <package> <version>

Commands for local publish/install

It should be possible to publish and install a package without connection to a registry.
Implement:

• pack
  will generate a TRM artifact and save it to local disk
• import
  will let you pick a file from local disk and import it into an SAP system

Notes:
the registry name of the artifact generated has to be discussed: technically, it's not a package from any registry so it might be best to just exclude it from the installed packages list (maybe add a flag to the manifest).

Compare-all command

Implement a new command that will automatically find out the packages that are installed an all the systems selected and compares them.

Add deprecate command

Add deprecate command
