With ng-tooltip it seems to be looking for the jquery's hover method which isn't included with jqLite.

Even if installation from bower is not possible, could you please create the dist folder in this github repo so that I can just point to this github and the dist/angular-tooltip.min.js exists... Thanks!

There seems to be a jquery dependency in angular-tooltip.js on line 104 with elem.hover()

The installation instructions state

1. Install with bower:

$ bower install ng-modal --save-dev
which returns
bower ENOTFOUND Package ng-modal not found

And it seems angular-tooltip is not registered with bower: http://bower.io/search/?q=angular-tooltip. At least by that name.

Am I being super dumb here?

I checked the documentation but there is no indication on how to do this.

It is not recommended to use it for your own things. Could conflict in the future.

Apologies I've not looked at the code yet, but quick question.. is it possible to bring one of these up from js (on a specific element) - or is it hardwired to mouse enter/leave?
