chessbot-goran's Issues

Test capturing

When testing pawn movement briefly, I noticed captures not working correctly. We need to test for further information. Moving a pawn when there is a possibility to take does work with my current knowledge.

Implement color switching

So far, only white's pieces can be moved. In order to test further and maybe even be able to play games with our engine, we need to be able to manage who's turn it is effectively.

Pieces can not go backwards

If a piece goes backwards it disappears

Fully test pawn legal movement

As in successor.py, white's legal pawn movements have been implemented. This needs to be tested to a further extend.

Implement legal movement of all pieces in both colors

Completing this and testing it until it is foolproof means we have reached a big milestone: The computer can depict the board and successfully input moves and check their legality.
