le_quickbms_script_compendium's Issues

a question

i know this is not the place to ask it but do you have discord? if you do, what is it?

Prince of Persia Trilogy (PS3) .bf files (partially) not supported

So I felt like making this a separate issue.

I looked further into the POP Trilogy for PS3 and it looks like some of the .bf files don't work with sally_bf.bms. I am able to extract the prince.bf file from all 3 games, but the sound.bf, textures.bf, and geometry.bf files all fail to extract. I found out that the headers for these unsupported .bf files were completely different, unlike anything I've seen, so maybe they are using different formats?

sally_bf.bms doesn't support Rayman Raving Rabbids (PC version only)

I've been trying out this script with various versions of Jade engine games, and it seems to work with just about everything so far, except it fails to extract Rayman4.bf from the PC version of Rayman Raving Rabbids specifically. I tried this script out with the Russian PC version to see if it wouldn't work with that version either since it has a slightly different .bf format, but surprisingly enough it works on that version, so this issue only affects the regular PC version. Here is the error printed out by QuickBMS:

Error: the script uses more array indexes (4294967295) than available (12540)

Last script line before the error or that produced the error:
408 getarray folder_name 37 previous_folder

A question

I'm trying to extract a BF file, but when i extract it with the normal script it says the script should have an ABE offset instead of BIG. Which script am i supposed to use to extract that file? Thank you and sorry for my ignorance

Naruto: The Broken Bond (X360) Unsupported .bf file

I've found another Jade engine game that seems to be incompatible with sally_bf.bms.
Naruto: The Broken Bond seems to use the BF64 format, which afaik, Shaun White Skateboarding (Wii version) is the only other game I know of that uses it.
bf64
When I attempt to extract it, this error comes up (also I'm not sure what's up with filename compatibility thing that pops up):
narutoerror

Out of all the Jade engine games I've tested, I think this is the only one left that is unsupported. I've made an extensive list of all the Jade and LyN engine games I could find here:
https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/Jade_(engine)
https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/LyN
I tried my best to make sure all of the platforms are accurate, though if there's anything I'm missing or wrong, don't hesitate to correct me.

Technictix & Technic Beat (PS2) Music ripping problem

I'm having trouble on ripping the music in Technictix. When I play the music in MF Audio with 12000Hz as the default (and common) frequency, the parts of each track are all jumbled up! It's almost like i've mixed up the parts of a track or almost all tracks, or have done something wrong.

All the game's tracks have this issue along with the rest of the .mus files that i extracted with the arika BMS script. There is also some stuttering while I'm playing the files. All of this might be because I haven't done the extracting correctly, as i'm not good at ripping music from PS2 games... The music has to be just right like in the actual game itself.

And why are all the instuments and sounds are put into single .vb files? Could the game have sequenced music?

Can you fix these issues, please.

(Rabbids Go Home) Extracted shortcuts are actually filenames

I recently tried to extract the assets for Rabbids Go Home, and I noticed that when I extracted them, the script separates the filenames from the actual assets as "shortcuts" instead of renaming them accordingly, is there any way to extract all of the assets with proper filenames, or is there something I'm doing wrong with how I am extracting them?

Ubisoft Montreal .*INT files.

Hi, I'm trying to modify the Prince of Persia the sands of time videos, and the file type is the same as that of your Batman Script, a question, have you made any progress in being able to read that raw video?

bms script question

Hello ,

I tested the script kojima_productions_ps2_dat.bms .
I wanna know if you have the possibility to get others extensions name after extraction.
Because i got some hexadecimal extension except for the .psq !

Thanks you
