Homebrew user issues

On my Mac I was not the original user that installed Homebrew.

Although my account belongs to the admin group and the Homebrew files (/usr/local/Homebrew) are set to that group, Homebrew still seems to lack permissions to run properly (can't create index.lock under .git dir).

If I try to force the issue with sudo, then Homebrew refuses (citing security issues).

This seems to be an issue with Homebrew, but it produces errors in our script.

swap contents

Rather than swapping the entire bashrc file, should swap the contents within the bashrc file which can be defined between two sets of custom indicator comments. If the file section does not exist then add it the end of the bash file
