$ npm install
npm ERR! install Couldn't read dependencies
npm ERR! Error: Invalid name: "risingstack/nodehero-authentication"

Changing to "nodehero-authentication" fix the error.

$ npm --version
1.4.21

Cant redirect to profile page after submiting

It is not redirecting to profile page after submit

What's the purpose of passing app to the passport init function?

On line 17 in index.js app is passed to the init function:

require('./authentication').init(app)

What's the purpose of this? I tried without and it doesn't seem to affect functionality.

I am very grateful for the tutorial. I found some useful information on how to use radish from fives.
But at the same time, I found some of the code I suggest to change

I suggest making such changes:

Redirection rules
Separate views for login and main page
Fix session settings

Never get past loginscreen

I never get past the loginscreen, even when I use the test-user/test-password credentials. It seems like the authenticated user is not available in the next requests. req.isAuthenticated() always fails.

rename multiple init.js file

Hi RisingStack team,

Can the team please rename several init.js files into something more meaningful?
It becomes difficult to distinguish at times
