First and foremost: love the idea behind the extension.

With that being said: is it possible to change the extension from running constantly in the background to only run when needed? The extension in its current state takes a little over 10K of memory on my machine running Windows 8.1.

Could you also submit this to the Opera addons site? Opera is compatible with chrome extensions, so you can just submit it in .crx format itself.

I think for the sorting, we could use match-sorter. That's a great sorting solution (I am biased)

For the performance, I'm not sure what's going on there.
