Cannot read properties of undefined (reading β€˜find’)

exports.addItemToCart = (req,red) => {
...

if (cart) {

const item = cart.cartItems.find((c) => c.product == product);

...

}
Following your tutorial on YouTube and this line keeps giving the error "cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'find')"
