gnome-shell-extension-window-animations's Issues

Animations when first opening windows should be disabled.

Expected behavior

When a window is opened, it should appear as is normal in vanilla shell.

Actual behavior

Instead, windows appear to slide in from the top-left.

doesnt work on gnome 3.20.4

shows error on tweak tool

gnome-terminal automatically moves on resize on wayland

Expected behavior

After resizing, gnome-terminal should stay in place.

Actual behavior

After resizing, gnome-terminal shifts upwards.

I used a camera to avoid the hassle of screen recording on Wayland.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

• Open a gnome session on wayland
• Open gnome-terminal
• Grab the top resize handle and drag up
• Release

It can't work.

When I setting 'easeOutElastic' ,and I can't get a "wobbly windows" effect.

Youtube fullscreen animation is laggy with this extension

Expected behavior

Actual behavior

Youtube fullscreen animation is laggy with this extension in both Chrome and Firefox.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Open Google chrome;
Just open a Youtube video on fullscreen mode.

maximized windows arent located correctly

some windows (e.g. slack, sublime text, whatsie) ate located wrong when maximised.
looks like the are couple of pixels to the left and top

Doesn't work with GNOME 3.18

Allow disabling transitions for manual resize/move (i.e. click and drag/alt+drag)

This extension is perfect for maximise/restore/tiling, but becomes really annoying when resizing or moving a window manually. Please allow us to turn this off so manual resizing isn't affected.

Half-tile animations don't work when pressing Meta+Left/Right for the first time.

Expected behavior

Windows should animate when tiling after launching.

Actual behavior

Tiling animations don't work after launching (maximising does work). Only subsequent animations work.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Open a window -> press meta+left/right

how to test changes to your code

Hi
I want to play with the code and try to improve or help with bugs (like the maximized window bug i have submitted)
but when changing the code , in my case commenting

	new WindowResizeAnimation()];

in both windows-animations.js and extension,js wont change a thing.\even after refreshing the shell
