What is this?

Grabs your current game info from logs and displays it in Rich Presense (may be a bit slow/not always accurate)

It is currently only for the PC version of the game!

CorePresence utilizes log tracking to keep track of the state of the game and display it as your Discord status!

It can also show information like current Arena, selected Striker, match score and what phase of the game you are in. The underscores represent set points, where the x is a won set, and the number next to it is how many points that team earned during the set. Similar to the game, your score is on the left and the enemy's is on the right.

How do I use it?

• Be sure you have Java installed on your computer. At least Java 8 is required.
• You can then simply run the jar with Java
• To open the jar with logging, open PowerShell, CMD or your preferred terminal. Make sure it is in the same directory the jar is in, then type java -jar <jarname>.jar. Where <jarname> should be replaced with the jar's name (Example: CorePresence-alpha2.jar)
• Open Omega Strikers on your PC, then simply set your Discord game status to "Omega Strikers CorePresence". You should only have to do this when opening it for the first time, after it will work automatically.

Psst! If you are an Omega Strikers developer, please read my wishlist here! CorePresense works from log tracking, so the addition of simple log messages would make things much easier for me and make log tracking far more reliable in some areas!

corepresence's Issues

READ BEFORE OPENING AN ISSUE!

Hey there, thanks for stopping by! If you are here to report an issue, here are a few things to note:

• Please give console output if you can. You can do this by running CorePresence by opening PowerShell/CMD/Terminal in the folder it is in and running java -jar CorePresence instead of just running it directly. You can then let it run over the problem log again and send the output.
• Check below, known issues shouldn't be reported, discussion for them can take place below in this issue here.

IF YOU ARE HERE ABOUT YOUR OS NOT BEING SUPPORTED:

• Currently, MacOS doesn't work, I just don't know where the logs are but non-Windows OSs are supported!! I developed this under Linux, if your computer runs Omega Strikers and a desktop version of Discord, I will consider adding your OS if it somehow doesn't work, just mention where your log file is in your issue.

Known issues:

• Sets won randomly doesn't get incremented
• Menu character isn't updated until you change your Striker, change the queue type or enter a queue or lobby (Unfixable atm)
• Character selected doesn't show up until the vs screen (currently this isn't fixable because the logs don't tell me what character the player picked until that point)
