Not working

Dear @robsonsmartins ,

I just found your project, cloned into my local machine, created an index.php with the included test code. But it is now working I get only a blank page. Is your code still working, or issuu changed something?

Here is what I am trying to download.

Estou tomando liberdade de falar em português, espero que não se importe.
Bem, de todos os downloaders do Issuu que já encontrei, o seu é o melhor. Não insere bordas brancas, fica ótimo, parabéns!
Mas eu percebi que a qualidade do arquivo extraído e convertido fica inferior ao original do Issuu. Penso que o Issuu te dá uma versão compacta das imagens das páginas quando em zoom out e quando você dá zoom in ele pega a original ou uma imagem que tenha compactação com menos perdas.
Seria possível implementar um "HD Mode" que o script tentasse pegar essas imagens de maior qualidade?

Só para exemplificar o que estou falando, segue um exemplo de uma revista baixada com seu programa e outra diretamente no Issuu.

Problem with download

I discovered your project ans I thank you for you work. I had today an issue on downloading a document:
https://issuu.com/marcoacuna/docs/handbook_de_f__sica_parte2
I used the possibility to do download without login details. It worked for another file but I now get an error after all pages of the publication have been precessed "Error in function: undefined" in a JavaScript window,
Could you imagine what went wrong? Many thanks

It does not work

Hello, I tried to download few PDFs from Issues and Although I provided my user name and password, it downloaded only the free versione of files (basically 3-4 pages readable).
Is that a bag or what?

Images downloaded truncated

Contrary to the past experience, I now verified that dowloading any image in landscape format I got the related PDF file truncated on the right side, pratically in square format.
You can refer to the screenshots attached.
Image 1 is the screenshot showing what I was attempting to download from issuu. It shows two pages of a book.
Image 2 is the screenshot showing one page of the dowloaded file. It is related to the right page shown in the image 1.
Is it possible to solve the issue?

Sorry if this is not the right place for this post! Just wanted say a big thank you for the Issuu downloader! Try to read documents with Issuu is miserable. I utterly despise it. We are lucky people like you are out there solving these problems.

allow to specify the rang when we download by author name

I just need you to add new feature to support set the range when downloading the docs
by author name for example
from 10 to end
or from book named ... to book/doc.. named ........
the reason
simply : when we try to download a huge number of files
then internet cut off
this will start download from the Begin 😄

Hello. the tool is not finding the user "cativa-medium" in Issuu.

and i've tried to download this file: "https://issuu.com/cativa-medium/docs/fidodido_catalogopv2017_issuu" it appears to me that the publication wasnt found.
The same happens with all files from this user.

[FPubD] Error downloading slideshare documents

Error occurs when downloading files from slideshare. The slideshare API has changed - see differences in the HTML source code of a document's home page.

404 file not found

Trying to download the document on link:

Returns me a PDF with 164 pages of "file not found"

Searchable PDFs

Hi,

I was wondering if there is anyway of adding search support for the generated PDFs.

This one is good example:

https://issuu.com/guani/docs/designpatternscard

If downloaded through issuu.com, the PDF has searching support. But not when it's downloaded by the tool.

Sir, since a few days am getting a 502 error when trying to download any pdf. either in chrome or firefox.
Would appreciate it if u could look into the matter sir.
