I am passionate about hardware and software engineering, particularly embedded systems, networking, the web, and cloud-native. I can effectively self-manage independent projects as well as collaborate as part of a team.

Previously, I worked as a software developer on an open-source internet observability platform known as Internet Health Report as part of Google Summer of Code. Before GSoC, I worked as a software engineering intern at a startup, where I solved optimization problems (in the logistics domain) for a period of 5 months.

Update the favicon

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
If I am not wrong, the current fav icon is just vercel's logo.

Describe the solution you'd like
How about adding a Favicon that represents the vision of the project, A light bulb for instance?

I designed a simple logo symbolizing idea ,ideation that you can use as favicon. (See screenshot below)

I would like to work on applying this.

Add dark theme feature

This project uses Chakra UI for styling. There is no dark mode switcher. Create a dark mode switcher in Chakra UI.

UI Enhancement

The UI of Conception is very raw. Design a minimalist UI with a good preference for colors and fonts. Chakra UI is used in this project.

Want to add some Apps ideas

Adding instructions for completing the body of the markdown file

User is not prompted with details about the body of the markdown file. But there is no clear instruction regarding adding the body of the markdown file. Nothing is mentioned in the contributing guideline

Adding clear instruction on how to add body to the markdown file.

A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.

Add unit tests

Most of the components do not have unit tests. It is good to have them tested!

User-friendly page title

As of now when I switch to a different page, it just displays the URL as the page title, which is not user-friendly at all.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to make it more user-friendly by changing the page title so that it displays "College Project Ideas" or "App ideas"

I would be glad to work on this.

A landing page that explain the main goals of Contribution

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

As of now, when people visit Contribution's URL, they land directly on the main page which does not clearly explain what Contribution does. They are bombed with the call to action to contribute to the project.

Describe the solution you'd like
How about adding the following before doing any call to action?:

• a short description of Contribution on the top of the page,
• Count the number of contributions already made
• From where they have been made

Conception is an idea-sharing platform. If you have any ideas you can contribute by writing your ideas in a Markdown file. If you're new to open source this will be a good starting point. Check out the CONTRIBUTING.md file to know more about how to contribute. Your idea should be explained in a minimum of 150 words.

Need edit page option and info about the author

It would be great if the edit option and author info is available for every idea page at the bottom.

Conception is an Idea sharing platform. If anyone searches on the internet that matches the ideas in Conception then the posts should rank on the first page of the search engine (Google, Bing, Brave, etc.)
