Backend for TestTech e-commerce website. This application will Utilize Express, Sequelize, and MySQL for better interaction between the website and database of TestTech products. # Table of Contents
To install the project go ahead and clone or download the files onto your local machine. Once you have all the files on your local machine you will need to create a .env file in the root of the project. In the .evn file you will create DB_NAME=ecommerce_db , DBDB_USER= , and DB_PW= with the user and pw fill that info with your MySQL info. Then you will run npm i to install all the files needed to run the application. You will also need to type in the terminal npm run seed to retrive all the info for your MySQL database. once your done will all that type npm start to run the application. # Usage Once you have all files downloaded all you have to do is run "npm i" to download everything. create a .env folder in the main directory and add "mysql_password='your password for mysql'". after that you will be able to run a "node index.js" to start the application.
