kvlib's Issues

How to catch KVLib exceptions?

Hi, when I surround KVLib function calls with a try/catch, and an exception occurs within KVLib, my program doesn't catch the exceptions because KVLib has its own try/catch's. I was wondering how I could detect when a KVLib exception occurs, and retrieve the info about the exception? Like, I want to detect when these exceptions occur and retrieve their message.

edit: Just realized the catch's in KVLib just throw the exception again.. so I'm really not sure why my try/catch's aren't detecting them.

Thank you!

KV3 Support

Valve announced the KV3 format for Source 2 today. We need to find some sample scripts and add in the features that Valve added. They did say that none of the old scripts would break with the change to the KV3 compiler, so that leads me to believe that the format is backwards compatible.
