mailwizard's Issues

invalid argument for mailboxes command

neomutt complains about the mailboxes command created by mailwizard. For example in the configuration of my first account ~/.config/mutt/accounts/[email protected], mailwizard put

mailboxes =name_example_com ===================== "=Drafts" "=Sent" "=Trash" "=INBOX" "=Queue" "=Archive" "=Junk"

Which causes the following errors when starting neomutt

Unknown Mailbox: /home/name/mail/[email protected]/name_example_com
Error in /home/name/.config/mutt/accounts/[email protected], line 21:
Error in /home/name/.config/mutt/mw_gen_mutt_accounts.muttrc, line 6: source: file /home/name/.config/mutt/accounts/[email protected] could not be sourced

Deleting the first two arguments fixes the error, but of course mw puts them back every time I run it. Could you tell me how this was intended to work?

i use systemd but no *net* service

mailwizard/bin/mw

Lines 78 to 81 in a6d2522

if ! systemctl --type service | grep -i net | grep active > /dev/null; then
echo "No internet connection."
return 1
fi

these lines prevent me from running this script even though i do have a working internet connection

Migration guide / script from `mutt-wizard` needed

Hello,

I'd be awesome if there was a way to easily migrate from mutt-wizard.
I've tried installing mailwizard on arch while previously having mutt-wizard and the neomutt failed; mw said No internet connection..

Obviously, I'd be best if this PR was merged, but till it isn't - it'd be nice to have a way to actually use it.

Add support for cyrillic folders

When syncing mail with Gmail if I have folder with name like Рассылки it has some weird name in mutt, starting with umpersand.

Is it possible to fix it?

consider tagging the versions ?

Hi @rpuntaie !

Your project is now packaged in the AUR.

I noticed that you've introduced versioning in your fork, which I appreciate. If you'd provide tags, we could take advantage of them and use them in the AUR package versions too.

On top of the tag system, Github supports hosting release tarballs. If you're interested, you could provide e.g. mailwizard 2.0 as a release, then I'd push a stable package in addition to the '-git' one. This would enable users to choose if they install fixed versions or rather be on the bleeding edge and go with the development package.

Btw the documentation is great, and I like that you added a test environment. 😄

getmail package dropped from archlinux repositories

Hi,

Since mailwizard depends on getmail - which in turn depends on python2 - are you by any chance aware of a possible replacement ?

getmail has been removed from the Arch repos, causing the mailwizard{,-git} AUR packages to break. For the time being, I've packaged getmail and pushed it to AUR, to keep them alive.
However, Arch is moving towards deprecating Python 2, hence this can only be a provisional solution.

As far as I'm aware, there's no Python 3 compatible getmail version upcoming. Do you think there's a way to move away from this dependency and to keep mailwizard available for Arch (and other progressive distros) ?
