budget_my_life's Issues

Add Time Scales for Transaction History

Income and Expenses sort by: lifetime, this month, this week. Currently transaction history, only displays the past 7 days adding a lifetime and monthly option would be nice and I believe it would make the interface more consistent.

another monetary unit

hi thanks for create this project and share it in f-droid
now i need to know is it possible add another monetary unit
like Rial
thanks.

[Feature] Remaining balance widget

Pretty self explanatory I think. Would be sweet to have a (or a few sizes?) widget to show remaining balance on the home screen. Tapping could go straight to adding Income or an Expense.

Add absolute incomes and expenses in Insights

I tend to expect that when displaying Insights view/page, in addition to percentages there will be absolute numbers both for incomes and expenses. This way it would be easy to know how much I spent this month or week.

Including absolute numbers in addition to percentages would be very helpful, and I think it's not very hard to develop.

Add Null Safety

This is needed for the future of the app and will slightly ease the addition of #28 and #32

Title case as optional

Often, I don't use title, the important things for me is the amount, secondly the category.
Can you make the title an optional case and the first input the amount ?

Adding per-label insights and how to acces to them

Having the option to view data about a concrete label would be helpful for knowing how much I received from a concrete job, or how much I spent in food.
For this, all transactions tagged with a label should be added and showed as in Insights.

For accessing this data, which would not be shown in any tab on main app view, user could:

  1. Tap the label on a transaction on Dashboard history. Here, the area used for label should not get the user to transaction overview view
  2. Tap the label in a transaction overview (accessed when tapping transaction on Dashbord history)

As said, this would be helpful. Thanks for this app :)

Dead project?

Hey as a little update to everyone, I'm gonna spend some time on the project over the summer and there's gonna be a lot of behind-the-scenes changes I need to make in order to start development again since there's been a ton of updates to stuff the app depends on. This feature will take a bit longer than I initially expected and I will have to do this after updating all that and maybe #32. In the end, I expect that it'll be done before the end of August at the latest.

I see there is no new updates in the last months. Any plans to comeback?

Order Labels (drag & drop)

The ability to sort Income and Expense Labels (drag and drop order) to alphabetize etc. would be a welcomed enhancement.

Speech-to-transaction

Make it faster to add transactions by speaking into your mic.
Will need to use the mic permission and need to determine how to convert natural language into dates/labels/amounts and all that
