Is it possible to switch from V8 to QuickJSR? https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/QuickJSR/index.html
V8 is a very heavy dependency, also broken on some non-mainstream platforms.
Depending on it creates problems further down with juicyjuice dependents, ex.: rstudio/gt#1179

The package has one function with no options. Maybe add some options? The juice library has them, this does not. That’s the underlying issue.

First release:

• usethis::use_cran_comments()
• Update (aspirational) install instructions in README
• Proofread Title: and Description:
• Check that all exported functions have @return and @examples
• Check that Authors@R: includes a copyright holder (role 'cph')
