Threema MSGAPI WebUI

This is a sample webui, which uses the Threema Gateway PHP-SDK.

Important: This is only an example and it is mostly only intended as a development tool. Do not use it on productive systems unless you know what you are doing!

Requirements

You must use at least PHP 5.4 and it is strongly recommend to install libsodium. For more information, please have a look at the installation instructions of the PHP SDK.

Additionally you need to set up a webserver and composer.

Set up

1. Use composer to fetch and install the dependencies:

   composer install

2. Go to this directory (or the index.php) and follow the instructions there.
   In case you do not want to do this just look at the .example files and replace them with your own credentials.

Display of public key of Sender fails

Currently displaying the public key of the sender always fails.
The reason is a wrong URL encoding in the PHP SDK as reported here: rugk/threema-msgapi-sdk-php#24

So this bug has to be fixed in the PHP SDK...

Add option to create QR code (of public key)

Use library: https://github.com/codemasher/php-qrcode by @codemasher (it seems to be a compact and recent library)
QR code syntax: 3mid:<identity>,<publicKeyHex> (from https://threema.ch/press-files/2_documentation/cryptography_whitepaper.pdf#page3 [page 3])

This would allow users to generate the QR codes locally instead of using the ones which are provided by the Threema Server at gateway.threema.ch. Or you can just check the provided QR code.

Improve public key tooltip

Currently it looks very basic. Possibly it should:

• show itself instantly by mouseover
• "look better"
• have a small description what it is

Add real list of recent receivers

The datalist should be filled with the recent recievers to allow a quick lookup.
