Introduction:

The Dhatnoon app is a log use management app that offers a unique feature enabling users to request and accept access to their device's camera, microphone, and GPS location. The feature allows users to remotely access another user's camera, audio, and location, potentially offering convenience and benefits in various scenarios. However, concerns about privacy and potential misuse have emerged.

Advantages of the Request and Accept Feature:

Enhanced Location Tracking:

Users can accurately track the real-time location of others, especially when GPS services are unreliable or inaccurate, making it useful for situations like ride-hailing services. For Example:- Mothers can easily inquire about their son's location during emergencies, without the need to navigate through various settings like WhatsApp or Google Maps.

Remote Check-ins:

Concerned family members can check on the well-being of their loved ones by accessing their location and camera, especially during travel or when communication is limited.

There is a feature in the request that allows the user to specify the time at which to send the request. Both sender and receiver must agree to the terms and conditions: during a specific time, the sender can access the camera, microphone, and GPS location of the receiver's device.

Employee Monitoring:

Employers can ensure employee accountability and productivity by remotely checking in on them during duty hours.

Medical Monitoring:

Healthcare professionals can remotely monitor patients to ensure that patients are taking prescribed medication on schedules. People may be concerned about the misuse of this app. To address these concerns, a log record will be kept whenever the camera, microphone, or GPS location is accessed on their device.
