This package provides a very simple Profile page that allows the current user to manage their name, email address and password inside of Filament.

Installation

You can install the package via Composer:

composer require ryangjchandler/filament-profile

Optionally, you can publish the views using

php artisan vendor:publish --tag="filament-profile-views"

Usage

This package will automatically register the Profile page as a Livewire component, but won't automatically add it to Filament. You should add the following line of code to your config/filament.php file.

    'pages' => [
        // ...
        'register' => [
            // ...
            \RyanChandler\FilamentProfile\Pages\Profile::class
        ],
    ],

If you visit your Filament panel now, you'll see a new Account navigation group as well as a Profile page.

Customising the Profile page

Since the package does not automatically add the Profile page to your Filament panel, you are free to extend the page and customise it yourself.

You should first run the following command in your terminal:

php artisan filament:page Profile

This will create a new App\Filament\Pages\Profile class in your project.

You can then update this class to extend the RyanChandler\FilamentProfile\Pages\Profile class.

namespace App\Filament\Pages;

use RyanChandler\FilamentProfile\Pages\Profile as BaseProfile;

class Profile extends BaseProfile
{
    // ...
}

Filament will automatically register your new Profile page and you're able to customise it to your liking. You can remove the navigation group, modify the form, etc.

filament-profile's Issues

Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages.

Problem 1
- ryangjchandler/filament-profile[v0.1.0, ..., v0.1.2] require illuminate/contracts ^8.73 -> found illuminate/contracts[v8.73.0, ..., v8.83.27] but these were not loaded, like
ly because it conflicts with another require.
- ryangjchandler/filament-profile[v0.2.0, ..., v0.2.2] require illuminate/contracts ^8.73|^9.0 -> found illuminate/contracts[v8.73.0, ..., v8.83.27, v9.0.0, ..., v9.52.4] but
these were not loaded, likely because it conflicts with another require.
- Root composer.json requires ryangjchandler/filament-profile * -> satisfiable by ryangjchandler/filament-profile[v0.1.0, ..., v0.2.2].

You can also try re-running composer require with an explicit version constraint, e.g. "composer require ryangjchandler/filament-profile:*" to figure out if any version is install
able, or "composer require ryangjchandler/filament-profile:^2.1" if you know which you need.

Filament v3

Compatibility issue with the Filament v3.

Error after changing password

I get this error after pressing cancel on the profile page

The GET method is not supported for this route. Supported methods: POST.

steps
Go to the profile page
change your password
press save
you will still be on the profile page
press cancel

then you will get the error

unable to register page as per README

i followed the guide to add the following to service provider boot method

            Filament::registerPages([
                \RyanChandler\FilamentProfile\Pages\Profile::class
            ]);

however i get route not defined error
so i dig further it appears to be in mountNavigation getPages is getting the correct pages array but in route/web.php Filament::getPages() is not getting the this page class

if I don't use the registerPages and register in config/filament.php pages.register key then everything works

'pages' => [
        'register' => [
            Pages\Dashboard::class,
            \RyanChandler\FilamentProfile\Pages\Profile::class
        ],
    ],
