.gitignore for files you shouldn't commit

Hey Sarah! There are some files you have on your repository that you shouldn't commit to GitHub. Those files usually include compiled files (like Java .class files) and IDE files and folders (like '.idea'). You can make it so that the git add command ignores these files and doesn't push them up to GitHub by adding a file called .gitignore to the root of your repository which contains the following text:

target/
*.jar
*.class
.idea/

This will make it so that your '.idea' folder, the compiled files in the 'target/' folder, as well as other compiled files, won't be committed.
