cheggdownloader's Issues

'Missing doc/image icon' artifacts being added below footer of each Problem page

After filling the default settings and running the CheggDownloadRunner.java file I found that the footers of each subsequent Problem Number include the addition of more and more 'missing doc/image icon' artifacts. Obviously, this then shows up in the screen captures. The below image shows a sample of sequential Problem pages with their footers containing the artifacts.

Note that visiting the site normally, i.e., not as a bot, doesn't display this behaviour. I figure it must be related to the way the Selenium WebDriver is configured. Perhaps it would be worthwhile to test a different implementation class, like the SafariDriver or some other one?

Dependencies

Hey,

I'm having trouble compiling this. What are dependencies that this uses?

Explanation/Help

Can someone please help me, I really wanted to download a book but I don't know how to do it? Can someone explain it to me what I have to do or maybe do it for me?

Kind regards

Does it still work?

Hi, jic I am still new to GitHub and still dont understand anything, but does this still work.? I haven't been able to install or test it.

Can't get past login

Hello,

I am guessing that Chegg has changed their login page, as I get "Unable to locate element" in the errors window of Eclipse when I run this script. I have no experience with Selenium or Maven, and almost none with Eclipse, though I do have some web automation experience. I think I got everything setup and I am trying to run the code, but I am stuck at this "Unable to locate element" error message.

I poked around a bit with Selenium IDE and stuff, but couldn't figure out what the new Xpaths would be (I don't even know what an XPath is yet, and I haven't had a chance to look into it).

Could you please look into this? Could be user error for all I know, but I don't think I'm that inept.

Thanks!
