Photo of the day stuck at July 3

I am not sure but it seems they changed from http to https, could you please check it?

Android 12: Crash after latest update

Following Android 12 change leads to a crash in the current version of the plugin:

AndroidRuntime: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: de.msal.muzei.nationalgeographic: Targeting S+ (version 31 and above) requires that one of FLAG_IMMUTABLE or FLAG_MUTABLE be specified when creating a PendingIntent.
AndroidRuntime: Strongly consider using FLAG_IMMUTABLE, only use FLAG_MUTABLE if some functionality depends on the PendingIntent being mutable, e.g. if it needs to be used with inline replies or bubbles.

once in a while photo stuck

Hi,
I always use the latest photo of the day but once in a while photo stuck without updating. Rebooting do not help.

The only solution I found is to:

• enable random photo,
• going back and wait until new photo is loaded
• disable random photo and wait until the latest photo is loaded

I noticed that this append when connection problem has occurred, wifi or mobile data either.

How can I debug it?

Meanwhile, could you please add and option to reload the photo on the 3 dot menu at the right of photo's name and data? So it will become:

photo of the day no longer working

Hi,
photo of the day is no longer working.
The issue happened suddently without apps update or modification. It could be that national geographic changed something again in their site.

Random photo works, but I do not know which range of dates is working

Photo information from last picture

The 'About this photo' site displays the information of the previous photo until closed and opened again.
Not sure if this is a plugin or muzei bug,could you please have a look?

API no lonver available

No (new) images, as Disney seems to have secured the Photo of the day API.

Getting HTTP 301 (Forbidden):
https://www.nationalgeographic.com/photography/photo-of-the-day/_jcr_content/.gallery.json

So.. for now, nothing that could be done until someone finds out how to call that API again.
I don't want to fall back to html parsing.

Photo of the day stuck at August 21

Hi,
the photo of the day is no longer updated since August 21 (neon nights). Activating a random photo works but only with photos posted before that date. Have no idea why

Android 5+ support

FDroid build says that app support Android 5+, but the app uses java.time class which is API 26+ (Android 8+). I always though that plugin is dead since it didn't work on my Android 7 system, but after seeing latest activity i checked logcat and found that it throws exception because it cannot find mentioned class. Is there any workaround for this?

App dowloaded not openable

Hi!
Such a nice app idea you had!
But sadly, when downloaded, no application is added to my apps and even the open button does not appear in store on your app page (in both store: play store and fdroid).
