Decoupling

Goal

Decouple the commercial part of Placeit (shopfront) from the main app

Background

Placeit is coupled all together, which prevents us from having a good performance in the shopfront, which should have the performance of a fast static page. Therefore we need to create a new stack with only the shopfront pages

Commercial Impact

Having a fast loading stack of commercial pages is critical for commercial success

Proposed Approach

Use a strangler pattern to split Placeit in micro services and replace the current stack

Success Metrics

Does the shopfront have a 90+ score in performance?
