Booksy: React Native Book Library

This is a book library (Similar to Goodreads) that's being developed live on YouTube.

API

The API is located in it's own repistory: sallar/booksy-api

Development

First make sure to setup your development environment using this guide (make sure to click on React Native CLI, and not Expo).

git clone [email protected]:sallar/booksy-app.git
cd booksy-app
cd ios && pod install && cd -
npx react-native run-ios

This will start the app in the iOS simulator.

Readme update

The Development section of this repo Readme needs one more step before cd-ing into ios folder to install the pods: npm i / yarn to prevent terminal errors such as > require_relative '../node_modules/react-native/scripts/react_native_pods'.
