A Data | ML Engineer who is proficient in Python and SQL. Additionally adept at building end-to-end Scalable data pipelines, applying ETL and ELT procedures, constructing scalable machine learning models that address real-world issues, and working with Natural Language Processing, computer vision, and recommendation systems. Proven proficiency in data engineering practices to ensure robust and efficient data processing for impactful project outcomes.

I have more than 2 years of experience working in the financial sector, where we built the first-ever uncollateralized lending platform using various machine learning models to assess KYC (Know Your Customer), business, risk, transaction, and psychological factors. To date (as of May 01, 2024), the platform has lent more than $80 million, positively impacting over 100,000 businesses in Ethiopia.
