Please note that images weren't included due to different or unclear licensing :(

Installation

D3 Chainsaw requires Node.js v4+ to run.

Install the dependencies and devDependencies and start the server.

$ cd d3-chainsaw
$ npm install
$ npm start

missing app.bundle.js

when I run npm start and navigate to localhost:8081 I see these errors:

the page looks like this:

Module not found: Error: Can't resolve 'react/lib/ReactMount'

host images on a site like imgur?

just an idea - you could probably host the images on a free image hosting service like http://imgur.com/

that way, the image host bears any copyright risk, rather the maintainer of this nice repo :-)

also, while this may depend on your jurisdiction, in the US using images from films or television in presentations is usually considered fair use, and so allowed under copyright law.
