Introduction

pipe-lightning is a dynamic nodejs framework for build and run pipelines to make transformations over several kinds of resources.

The main goal of pipe-lightning is to automate mechanical and repeated task to center your efforts in what matters: quality, test and develop your system without spend your time in bored task.

Pipe-lightning is integrated with gulp, the streaming build system by now. Pipe-lightning is planned to be integrated with several technologies, all of which will work togheter and collaboratively in one, or several, pipelines.

Used Libraries

Pipe-lightning integrates with some awesome technologies and frameworks for general purposes. Pipe-lightning has components to an easy use of those libraries, although you can use it directly or use you preferred technology installing it globally with npm, or use your awesome code.

The following libraries are integrated now with pipe-lightning:

• gulp: gulp is a toolkit for automating painful or time-consuming tasks in your development workflow
• lodash: A modern JavaScript utility library delivering modularity, performance & extras.
• sql-ddl-to-json-schema: Transforms SQL DDL statements into JSON format (JSON Schema and a compact format).
• xml-js: Convert XML text to Javascript object / JSON text (and vice versa).
• moo: Moo is a highly-optimised tokenizer/lexer generator.
• ejs: EJS is a simple templating language.
