          resumé

I've worked with computers professionally since 1993. Although my primary focus is commercial software applications, I enjoy building infrastructure components and reusable shared libraries. I help companies define, develop, and automate processes, code standards, and guidelines.

feedback's Issues

Using ASP.NET Core DI with MVC 5

Using the code you suggested in this article (https://scottdorman.blog/2016/03/17/integrating-asp-net-core-dependency-injection-in-mvc-4/), I implemented that solution with a MVC 5 project (waiting to migrate to Core).

It works. The problem is that it ends up using a lot of memory. After some investigation, I found out that the DependencyResolver do not dispose the instances of the controllers, even though they have been set as transient.

Have you ever experience something similar? And, most important, found a solution?

Thanks,

Marco Ferri

Use MDL2 Icons font in commercial applications

Are there restrictions regarding the use of MDL2 Icons in a commercial web application? Is a license required, are there fees associated? Can the Icons font be used without any limitations?

Thanks!

versioning (assembly-build-versioning) question

hi - thank you for taking the time to look at this:
installed and (thought to have) configured the versioning tool added to a project, it does update the AssemblyInfo.cs but inexplicably the version string looks like ""3.2.230329.00", the 6-digit date went where the Patch-Version would be. If you had a moment to point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate. Used to work with tool called "AssemblyInfoTask", that worked well but the newer VCs it's been getting more and more difficult to get it to work.
many thanks
Andreas (MA, USA)
