Democrats.org Remake

This is a remake of Democrats.org, official website of the United States Democratic Party.

Frameworks & libraries used:

• Vue.js - for data linking & routing
• Normalize.css - for cross-browser consistency
• Font Awesome - for social media icon styling
• webpack - for style & script bundling

Build Setup

To try it yourself, download it to your local drive, open a terminal inside the directory and go through the following steps:

# install dependencies
npm install

# serve with hot reload at localhost:8080
npm run dev

# build for production with minification
npm run build

A Note on Copyright

While this copycat is made from scratch, it contains images from the original Democrats.org site. Those images are protected by copyright laws, and are used under the fair use doctrine, which "permits limited use of copyrighted material without having to acquire permission from the copyright holder" (see Wikipedia).
