I don't know where recordrtc is saving the audio while the recording is going on. If its saving to memory, that will be a big issue once we start working with large file sizes. In that case, we'll need make sure we're buffering the audio straight to the recordings directory while we are recording it.

I have not yet determined what happens when you mix two files of different lengths.

The 'duration=first' option on the ffmpeg command seems to just take the length of the first .wav file to create mix.wav. we'd have to experiment with this.
