Short explanation how to start the Demopage and what tool/demos to find there.
Improve the label and text on dempage itself, to speak alone what going on

Create javascript counter on the Demopage, that show the last propagation time on the server. Maybe this is first only possible for Javascript onDeman propagation.

Build the basic javascript funktion, that detect if a picture on the server is new uploaded/ modified and reload the new picture prevent caching of the picture. Load it into a img or div container.

The technic to detect the new picture, without load the hole pic every second will the main challange in this issue. Maybe there is a way with some kind of http server push or http resource checksum. If not we need a serverside help script that report only the checksum or last modified timestamp.

Create a button on demopage, when pressed a demo pic from number 1-5 will copy into the demo/webcam folder. The pictures numbers restart at 1 when reached the number 5.

Init a cronjob that copy a testpic from number 1-5 into the demo/webcam folder in a given timespan from every 2 second to every 30 minutes.
When the cronjob runs, the button for Javascript propagation on demand #1 has to be disabled.
