Hi Jack,
As you know, I already have a version of code based on Bootstrap's SCSS converter that can fetch from the primary SUI repo and convert it to SCSS. It shouldn't be too difficult to re-write it to have it convert files to SASS, as there is a beautiful SASS parser available in the Ruby land. However, my question isn't about is language X better than Y, my concern is that I'm primarily a Ruby developer (with some mild Node.js experience) and I can cook up an SASS converter in less than a day in Ruby. However, I am unsure if this will be acceptable to you since you work primarily on Node. If this is not a problem, I can start working on the converter soon. I'm not sure if I disclosed this earlier, I am using SUI on 90% of my projects with a few of them being legacy ones based on bootstrap, hence, it would only help (myself and others) the sooner I start writing this converter. If using Ruby isn't a problem for you, I can kickstart the converter soonish. Otherwise I might need some time to understand your current workflow based on Node and write the parser based on that. Would love your thoughts.
