Dog Size & Intelligence Relation

Project Motivation

Aim of this project is to clarify the relation between dog loyalty, intelligence and size relation to unsecret for people and help them about their decisions if they have any doubt about this topic.

• Is intelligence related to size? It seems there is no directly relation between dog size and intelligence.

• Is loyalty direclty related to intelligence? The situation is the same as intelligence for loyalty

• Is loyalty direclty related to intelligence? It seems we can say that dogs which learn a command with less reps are more loyal and more oriented to owners.

Quick start

Project is developed in the Jupiter Notebook. You need to download and install Jupiter Notebook. For Ubuntu Jupyter Notebook can be installed with the code belows for other operating system you can check the documentation.

• Jupyter Notebook: sudo apt install python3-pip python3-dev && pip install jupyter
• Clone the repo: https://github.com/semeteycoskun/dogs-size-and-intelligence.git

Files Descriptions

• dog_intelligence.cvs
• breed_info.csv Those data files which is used in this project can be downloaded link below:
  • https://data.world/len/dog-size-intelligence-linked
• size_intelligence_relation.ipynb Main project notebook.
• docs folder and its content is used to publish a high-level article of this work. Not required for the main project.

Libraries

Required libraries:

• pip install pandas (v1.2.4)
• pip install seaborn (v0.11.1)
• pip install sklearn (v0.0)
