precalculated height is wrong, due to style change

e.g. the site is open for more than 24h and you want to create a new snippet. You write the snippet and click save, the saved message comes up but the new snippet is not shown annywhere, it is not actually saved.

A check needs to be implemented that you are still authenticated when a user is returning to the site.
