I have been extremely busy lately and have not had the free time to develop this firmware as much as I would have liked.

At the moment, I am developing features to simplify configuring ProxyChains-ng. I am half way through developing these extra features. After this, I will be focusing on developing RTSP support. I already have some ideas on how to develop RTSP support, however it will take a bit of experimentation as the Xiaomi programs are undocumented and proprietary.

I believe once RTSP is developed, these cameras will be much more useful for many people and it will be much easier to develop extra features such as sync with Google Drive.

At the moment, there is no other way to bypass the region ban besides using a program like ProxyChains-ng. It may be possible to get around the region with other methods. However I believe it would require hacking the Xiaomi programs running on the camera. However once, RTSP support is developed, there will be no need to be forced into using the Xiaomi app/cloud which enforces region locks.
