🦄 Sadie's Closet

Overview

This is an app for a 10 year old who loves unicorns and has a hard time choosing outfits to wear everyday. The user is able to see all the available clothes to choose an outfit from, as well as filter the available clothes by type. The use can click on a top and on a bottom to add those items to their outfit. The user is able to navigate to their outfit page and see the full ourfit they selected and also clear their selected item and start again.

Setup

Installation Instructions For Front-End

• Fork and clone this repo.
• Cd into the project and then cd into ui
• Run 'npm install'
• Run npx vite to run the Vite app

Installation Instructions For Back-End

• Fork and clone this repo
• Cd into the project
• Run npm run server

Learning Goals

• Gain experience with React, Router, Asynchronous JavaScript, and end-to-end testing in Cypress.
• Create user stories to drive the functionality of a React app.
• Display data from an API over multiple views using Router.
• Try to solve a unique problem with your app.

Libraries and Frameworks

Wishlist

• Connect to a database so user is able to take picture and add clothes the the data.
• Add functionalilty for user to indicate certain items are "dirty".
• Create log in capabilities to add another user to the app.
