I see this is where you are polling the joysticks on the controller.
Maybe here would be a good place to also pull a menu button (or an interrupt is 
fine). But have a menu button like the triangle. Then the driving shuts down 
and the menu can start up, so now when you use the joysticks of the individual 
arrows (I'd rather it be the arrows) it plays with the LCDMenu I've been 
working on. 

Just something that would be cool if you have time.

Still don't know how to upload or post anything but an issue.

I've been through every page of this site and searched in the help. No luck.
Can you just add the file:
MobileRobotLCDMenu.pde
to the Mobile Robot Menu?

I'm halfway done with it, just didn't have a way to upload it.
And if the attachment doesn't work. Just check dropbox.
