Contributions are always weclome! That being said, given the overall size of this project I am not sure about this.
- f-strings could be used, but would not make any functional difference. Given the amount of fairly long formatted strings, I wonder if this switch is worth the risk of breaking some of the outputs.
- The use of plain print statements over logging is intentional, because it should be possible to just copy&paste all outputs and automatically have a somewhat complete statistical analysis.
- & 4.: The project is small with few committers. Such a pre-commit hook is overkill for such a small project.
I am against fully automated formatting, as this often also leads to ugly code, when the line-breaks are awkward.
