You are right, this is somewhat badly worded in the description. I will fix this for the next release.
It will probably become something like this:
- For normal data, the ROPE is defined as 0.1*STD, where STD is the standard deviation. This means the ROPE is the area with an effect size of less than d=0.1, where d is Cohen's d.
- For non-normal data, the ROPE is defined as 0.1*MAD, where MAD is the mean absolute deviation of the median. This means the ROPE is the area with an effect size of less than gamma=0.1, where gamma is Akinshin's gamma
That should fix the issue, right?.
