Improving prediction of demand of electricity on holidays in New England, United States

For a class project, I used a Linear Regression model to generate predictions for electricity demand on holidays by using it as boolean input to the dataset. I found that it does make a slight difference but not a considerable difference.

Getting Started

Git cloning the files will allow you to use the project

Prerequisites

Latest version of MATLAB is required as it used MATLAB live scripts.

Installing

To use MATLAB you require a license which is generally provided for free by universities.
