Yeah, I've been seeing this too. I've been meaning to fix this one. It's timing-related.

For unit testing, why don't we ignore time and just call render for reliability? We could have another test that tests the timing aspect, but I don't even think it's worthwhile to test

Is this still an issue? I recall running into a similar problem when I first started fiddling with CLI::UI, but I haven't run into this particular issue for some time.
